The Price of Better Hearing

It is unfortunate that over the years the reputation of hearing aid quality has typically been coupled with the notion that these valuable devices are almost cost prohibitive.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  With the advances in technology, the quality has increased significantly.  Likewise, improvements in production techniques help to make them more affordable than ever before.  The value you are getting from modern hearing aids is unmatched by any units of the past.

The Quality is Reflected in the Price

The axiom of getting what you pay for is as true today as it has ever been.  Unfortunately, the hearing aids you find advertised on late night television and in magazine classified advertisements will not correct the problems associated with hearing loss.

Hearing aids costs cover a very broad range.  Due to advancing technology, you can now find very good devices for under $1,000.  We generally find that the average hearing aid costs the user around $2,200.00, with top of the line models going for about $3,300.00.

Not Always a Matter of Price

In order to help you cover the cost of hearing aids, we accept most major insurance plans.

New York Hearing Center strives to help all patients irrespective of their financial standing, and every quarter our "Better Hearing in our Community" Program offers a free hearing aid to a person of limited means.
